2017 Hamilton Sheep Vention Results

Judge of the Texel section at the 2017 Hamilton Sheep Vention on August 7th was well known studmaster Bill Close, Newbold Stud, Gawler River, SA. Five exhibitors from Victoria and South Australia competed.

The Hamilton P & A Society and Spectator trophy award for champion ram was won by the Willaren stud, of Bill & Karen Agnew, Millicent, SA. Reserve Champion ram went to Glenarbian Stud, Millicent SA.

Ceva Animal Health trophy award for Champion Ewe was won by the Mertex stud of Basil, Heather and their son Tim, Antwerp, Vic. Also had a great show in exhibiting the reserve champion ram, and were most successful exhibitor on a count back.
